Meet Sam! She is 22-year-old writer, amateur surfer, skater and film critic. On her best days she can whip up fresh, lovingly made sauces and on her worst days can be very spastic and almost burn the house down while making such sauces. Sam just received her degree in journalism from the University of Florida and will be pursuing her Master's degree in public-interest communications at UF in the fall of '22. With a big passion for both storytelling and advocacy work, she's excited to enter this new program learning to combine the two and strategize effective actions to uplift social justice campaigns. When she is not scrambling how to make this possible, she's bar hopping with her friends, collecting local music zines and stumbling into house shows and DIY events. For her next project, she wants to convince her boyfriend to take a road trip out West and in the process rate, review and romanticize the best chicken sandwich spots for a weird but exciting chicken zine.
