[UNPUBLISHED:] Tell me a bit about your album LONESTAR.

[DREAMER BOY:] At its core it’s an album I made about heartbreak, and then the discovery on the other side of all that. I made it with a bunch of friends and collaborators.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What was the inspiration behind the album?

[DREAMER BOY:] I was wanting to make something that felt more organic, more alive, and my friends Aidan, Christian, and Aaron, really pushed me to think about music making in a whole new way. I would say that Texas, and my childhood spent in Texas, and the rest of the south was also pretty influential.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What are you most excited about in regard to the project?

[DREAMER BOY:] I’m excited for my audience to experience a different sound from me, and I feel like the shows are going to be really fun with the live band aspect.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Do you have a favorite song off of it?

[DREAMER BOY:] It changes all the time, but right now it’s “If You’re Not In Love” and “Summer in America.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What do you hope fans take away from it?

[DREAMER BOY:] I hope they take away the landscapes that I hoped to paint within the music, and I hope they can relate to some of the stories. I hope they sing along to some of the shouting hooks.

[UNPUBLISHED:] How does this album differ from previous projects you’ve done?

[DREAMER BOY:] It definitely feels more organic and rock n roll. It feels like I tried to tap into new ranges of my vocals which felt really natural and fun.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Do you have anything exciting coming up?

[DREAMER BOY:] Getting on the road with the band! Hopefully making more music and finding a new piece of myself out there.
