[UNPUBLISHED:] What are you most excited about for your upcoming tour?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] We are really looking forward to playing some international shows again. We haven’t played places like Japan, Australia, and Europe since the R5 days.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What makes you feel at home when you’re on the road?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] It’s nice because we get to tour with family, so it always feels at home in a way.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Are there any items you cannot live without while on tour?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] We drink Bulletproof coffee every day, on tour and at home! We’ve also been doing ice baths every day on tour, so I would say that too!

[UNPUBLISHED:] You recently released the “Keep Moving Forward” video, what was the inspiration behind it?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] That was actually all done on the fly at our photoshoot. Our photographer Samuel Fisher brought his friend Tate Warner to shoot some video, and it exceeded our expectations! We actually just released the music video for “Malibu” which he also shot and directed as well.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Do you have a favorite lyric from your song “Keep Moving Forward”?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] Honestly, probably just “keep moving forward” because they are great words to live by!

[UNPUBLISHED:] How do you think your sound has evolved from when you guys first started music?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] We have really just come into our own musically. Actually, our upcoming album Summer Mixtape is the first time we’ve ever used our own mixes for an album. I feel like we just keep getting better and better, but all of our music still sounds authentically us.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What’s it like being siblings but also making music together?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] Great actually! There’s something about being siblings and getting each other on a more intimate level that other collaborators don’t always have. We’re each other’s best friends.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Do you have a favorite song that you’ve ever made?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] That’s really hard to say! I don’t think I can pick just one. “Scared of Heights” is always a favorite to play live. “Keep Moving Forward” has been fun to play live too! There are some good ones on this upcoming album.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What’s your music-making process look like?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] Just Rocky and I in the studio! It’s always different. Sometimes it starts with a guitar riff. Sometimes a beat that Rocky makes. Sometimes it’s a series of words I’ve written down.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Who are some artists you’re currently listening to?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] The 1975, Fleetwood Mac, Joji, Djo, XXXtentacion, and SZA.

[UNPUBLISHED:] If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] It would be cool to collaborate with Rihanna. Fans have been wanting us to collab with 5SOS!

[UNPUBLISHED:] What's inspiration behind your name “The Driver Era”

[THE DRIVER ERA:] We keep that a secret!

[UNPUBLISHED:] How has growing up in Los Angeles influenced your music?

[THE DRIVER ERA:] I think growing up in Los Angeles has given us access to so many different kinds of music, which is why I think a lot of people say our music is genre-less. We have a very wide range of musical inspirations.
