[UNPUBLISHED:] Introduce yourself. Who is the ‘multi-faceted creator,’ Larray?

[LARRAY:] “Larray” is a kid at heart that is interested in so many things, from clothing to acting, to simply having fun on social media. At the end of the day, I hope to inspire others to be who they truly are and not allow the world to force them to be somebody else.

[UNPUBLISHED:] Tell us about the inspiration behind your new capsule collection, GIRLIESXO.

[LARRAY:] I’m a huge fan of all things anime. That’s all I watched over the past year in quarantine. From shows like Naruto and Hunter x Hunter to the video game Pokemon — I love it all. In this new collection, I really wanted to create my own anime world and it was so fun collaborating on the shoot with my friends.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What are some of your favorite anime shows, and why were they so influential in the creation of this line?

[LARRAY:] Hunter x Hunter and Naruto are my two favorites. I was inspired by both the worlds the creators were able to make within each show. I am also fascinated by the artistry that goes into anime and it was something that I wanted to carry over into my capsule collection.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What was the process of creating the GIRLIESXO capsule collection like?

[LARRAY:] I always start with one piece and then build out from there. For this collection, I started with the pink-haired anime character first and then built out the world and other designs as I went.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What was your favorite part of creating the line?

[LARRAY:] I would say being able to use my imagination with each capsule collection. They have all been so different which has been a great chance for me to explore different styles of artwork and design.

[UNPUBLISHED:] How do you hope wearers of the brand will feel while donning their GIRLIESXO garments?

[LARRAY:] FIERCE! I hope they rock it proudly. Tag me when you’re wearing it!

[UNPUBLISHED:] From your TikTok videos and music to fashion, where do you typically find inspiration for projects?

[LARRAY:] I get a lot of inspiration from my fans online. They give me great advice on what shows to watch, what music to listen to and so much more.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What is your personal favorite piece from the GIRLIESXO collection?

[LARRAY:] My favorite piece is the NATALIA black pullover hoodie.

[UNPUBLISHED:] You’re a strong advocate of being unapologetically yourself, may it be through your TikTok platform or hosting Facebook Watch’s pride month special, Pride On! How does GIRLIESXO channel that same energy of self-acceptance and love?

[LARRAY:] With GIRLIESXO, I want everyone to be able to find a piece that inspires them and empowers them to walk out of the house feeling amazing. My goal in everything I do is to inspire others to feel comfortable being who they really are.

[UNPUBLISHED:] What other projects can we expect from you soon?

[LARRAY:] I’m currently working on new music as the follow-up to my track “Cancelled” that I dropped last year. In addition, I’m working on some cool film stuff that I can’t wait to share with everyone.
