[UNPUBLISHED:] What’s the inspiration behind your name Groupthink?
[GROUPTHINK:] Think group.
[UNPUBLISHED:] I read that you’re an award-winning poet - how do you think being a poet has influenced the way you create music?
[GROUPTHINK:] Poetry taught me how to think.
[UNPUBLISHED:] How does your writing process differ when it comes to writing poetry versus songs?
[GROUPTHINK:] Songs are poetry.
[UNPUBLISHED:] You have a really distinct sound, which I love - how did you find your sound? Do you have any advice for aspiring musicians experimenting and struggling to find with their sound?
[GROUPTHINK:] It’s cool you say that I feel like we’re still finding it. With this next project I feel like we found something. Im terrible at advice but I would say make one song 10 times.
[UNPUBLISHED:] You recently released your song “Miss Carolina” featuring Carlie Hanson - what was the collaboration process like for that single?
[GROUPTHINK:] Carlie is the shit we linked up at our friend Villager’s studio and talked about our moms.
[UNPUBLISHED:] Where did the inspiration behind that song come from?
[GROUPTHINK:] Missing home but not being able to go back because you’re chasing your dreams.
[UNPUBLISHED:] What's your favorite part of the music-making process?
[GROUPTHINK:] Dancing.
[UNPUBLISHED:] What does a perfect day look like for you?
[GROUPTHINK:] A perfect day looks like Lou Reed.

[GROUPTHINK:] Getting healthier, getting hotter, doing taxes, dropping this next project, changing the sound of music.
