Meet Madeleine, also known as Maddie! She is 18 years old, born and raised in sunny Los Angeles. Currently, she is studying as a Film & Digital Media major at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). When she isn't in front of a screen watching another coming-of-age movie, you can probably find her practicing the bass guitar, listening to Frank Ocean, or scrolling endlessly on TikTok. Aside from these interests, she is especially passionate about advocating for Asian-American representation within the film industry. And while she is still deciding, she hopes to become a cinematographer or director and make movies about POC, and with POC! Some of her favorite films and shows include Sorry to Bother You, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Euphoria, Skam, and High Fidelity.
